MUMBAI: In a significant development that marks the culmination of a prolonged and deeply emotional saga, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially closed the case of Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic demise, ruling out any suspicion of foul play.
The verdict has not only provided closure to the long-drawn investigation but has also sparked a wave of support for actress Rhea Chakraborty, who was at the center of intense media scrutiny.
Sushant Singh Rajput, the talented Bollywood actor whose untimely passing on June 14, 2020, left the nation in shock, was found dead in his Mumbai apartment.
The official post-mortem report confirmed asphyxia due to hanging, and the death was ruled a suicide. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident triggered widespread outrage, with calls for justice echoing across the country.
Amid the media frenzy and public speculation, Rhea Chakraborty, who was in a relationship with Sushant, faced relentless scrutiny and was subjected to a highly publicized witch-hunt.
With the CBI finally giving Rhea a clean chit, Hindi movie celebrities have come forward to demand accountability for the hardships she endured.
Hiten Tejwani, a famous actor majorly known in the Hindi TV industry, was asked about his opinion on the case and its verdict and the response was something which would make sense to the fans definitely.
Hiten Tejwani said, “Problem is that you know before jumping into conclusions we should actually wait for the final verdict and then start talking about it. You know you definitely spoil someone’s life, ruin someone’s career and these are such kind of tags that they remain forever. I mean whatever you try to do...whatever people have done to her, or said about her or posted about her. I think whoever said whatever to her, they atleast owe an apology to her.”
