MUMBAI: Star Plus has been a home to some of the most popular shows and has, at times, set the tone and direction for daily soap in country. Be it Kyuki Saas bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahin Kisi Roz, and Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki to now Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata, Star Plus has ruled the audience's hearts.
It's an endless process and so the channel has much more to give. With many shows still in pipeline, there's one that's coming up soon, Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shahad Shahad. The show stars Abrar Qazi and Afiya Tayebali.
Earlier, we reported how Sejal Jaiswal has been roped in for the project. Well, in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, the actress opened about the show and her character, giving some pretty interesting details.
Sejal Jaiswal said, "I chose this project after turning down a few others because I truly loved the story—it’s unique and refreshing. I’m playing the parallel lead of the show My character embarks on a journey that every young woman will connect with. It’s a heartwarming family show that beautifully explores the bond between the younger and older generations. That’s all I can share for now, but trust me, it will be a delight to watch."
She added, "The industry is evolving quickly, with much content now being shot in vertical format, and productions are experimenting with new approaches. However, nothing compares to the impact of TV, and this show will definitely be a treat for viewers."
The actress has previously given some impressive performances in projects like Krishna Mohini, Choti Sarrdaarni, Dhaakad and more.
It'll be interesting to see the actress on screen once again.
