MUMBAI: In a light-hearted moment during Delhi Capitals’ training session, wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul’s bat split into two, prompting a hilarious reaction from team captain Axar Patel. The Delhi franchise shared the amusing incident on their official social media handle, capturing both the mishap and the fun that followed.

During batting practice, Rahul’s bat broke cleanly in half. As the top portion of the bat lay on the ground, Axar picked up the remaining handle and cracked a joke, comparing it to a mongoose bat. He then involved teammate Tristan Stubbs in the banter, saying the top half belonged to him and playfully called the bottom part a mongoose bat.
