RCB went on to secure a commanding six-wicket victory, moving to the top of the IPL points table. Krunal Pandya was the standout performer, smashing an unbeaten 73 off 47 balls — his first IPL fifty since 2016. Kohli played a supporting role, scoring a composed 51 off 47 balls. Together, they forged a crucial 119-run partnership that steered RCB to chase down DC’s total of 162 in just 18.3 overs.

RCB's bowlers, led by Josh Hazlewood and their spin attack, restricted Delhi to 162 for six, applying pressure during the middle overs. The victory marked RCB’s seventh win in 10 matches, while DC suffered their third defeat of the season, keeping both teams firmly in the playoff race.
At 26 for three, RCB were under pressure before Krunal and Kohli stabilized the innings. Krunal’s clean hitting, particularly against Mukesh Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav, stood out. Kohli, continuing his remarkable consistency, recorded his sixth fifty-plus score in ten games. However, it was Krunal’s night to shine with his rare but crucial match-winning knock.
