MUMBAI: Sony SAB’s ‘Veer Hanuman’ continues to captivate audiences with its emotionally powerful storytelling. Featuring Aan Tiwari as the young Lord Hanuman, Sayli Salunkhe as Mata Anjani, Arav Chowdharry as Kesari, Mahir Pandhi in dual roles as Bali and Sugreev, and Tanmay Rishi Shah as Lord Ram, the show now reaches a dramatic and heartfelt new chapter. So far, audiences have witnessed Lord Hanuman confront Lord Indra (Meer Ali) for endangering Ayodhya, but his determination angers Agni Dev, who misreads it as ego. In a fiery response, Agni Dev unleashes a volcanic eruption that traps Lord Ram and Lakshman (Daniksh Dadhich), only for Lord Hanuman to save them heroically.
In the upcoming episodes, Lord Hanuman feels hurt by Lord Ram’s silence and decides to bring his mother Anjani back from Malay Parvat on his own. But when he learns that an epidemic is about to strike Ayodhya, he sets aside his pain and rushes back to protect the kingdom. Though he bravely saves Lord Ram and the sages from the pandemic, Lord Ram continues to remain distant, leaving Lord Hanuman heartbroken. Meanwhile, Lord Ram turns to Guru Vashishta for answers on how to reunite Lord Hanuman with his mother.
Will Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman’s bond survive this test of love and loyalty?
Sayli Salunkhe, who plays the role of Mata Anjani in Veer Hanuman, said, “Being a mother, Mata Anjani represents selfless love, quiet strength, and unwavering faith in her son. This phase where Hanuman longs to reunite with his mother, beautifully reflects the deep bond between a mother and child—one that stands the test of distance, and time. Playing Mata Anjani is a deeply emotional experience for me and I feel honored to portray such a layered and powerful character whose love continues to guide Lord Hanuman, even from afar.”
Tune in to Veer Hanuman, Monday to Saturday at 7:30 PM, only on Sony SAB
