I don't think I am India's finest actor - Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui
From not having a designer to dress him up for a film festival to gracing the cover of India's most prestigious men's magazine, Nawaz has truly come a long way. The stylish cover however, did end up creating ripples in the film industry when they christened Nawaz as India's finest actor. But when we asked Nawaz on if he thought he was indeed the finest actor in India, a shy Nawaz blushed considerably before responding. "Well, I don't think so. I am still learning and growing as an actor and I have a long way to go. But probably they felt that was the right headline for the story and I didn't feel bad," said Nawaz with a wink. Nawaz's next outing Miss Lovely is a movie that revolves around the making of C grade movies in which Nawaz plays the lead role. Talking about the movie, director Ashim Ahluwalia said, "Though the movie is high on sexual content, it does not promote sexual violence against women. Women are molested on a daily basis everywhere. India is very interested in sexuality and the repression of that leads to crime. The Censor Board cuts everything sexual in movies and we pretend that there is no sexuality in our lives. I feel the more we talk about and discuss sex, the less the sex-related crimes will be." Miss Lovely releases on 17 January 2014.
