A parallel lead in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil

There will be a new entry in Balaji Telefilms’ Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and that girl will fall in love with Prem (Harshad Chopra). Prem who was all set to tie the knot with Rano (Rachana Parulekar), advised her to go back to her husband who surfaces after three years and requests Rano to come back to him. Later Prem demands Heer (Additi Gupta)to find him another suitable match. This is actually a ploy by Prem who wants Heer to feel jealous after seeing him with another girl and thus admit her love for him in the open. Informs our source, “Heer, who is working as a match-maker with a renowned match-making bureau, will befriend the owner Jasmeet aunty’s daughter Geet. Geet’s character will be played by a rookie actress, Simran Khanna. Geet is a lively and bubbly girl who is also Heer’s best friend. She will play the parallel lead in the show. Ultimately viewers will see Geet falling in love with Prem. What happens next would be of great interest because that's what is going to determine the fate of the eternal love story of Heer and Prem. Geet would eventually come to know that Prem is actually Heer’s husband and from there on the show will take an interesting turn.” Whether or not Geet will play an important role in uniting Heer and Prem is something that remains to be seen. The show, as reported by TellyChakkar earlier, will be shifted to the afternoon slot at 2:30 pm starting 5th August.
