We had yesterday reported about Aishwarya Rai’s plans to throw a surprise birthday bash for her better half, Abhishek who turned 38. And staying to true to that, Aishwarya did manage to surprise Abhishek by calling in all his near and dear ones for a party organized at their Juhu residence. Sources say that the invites were sent out by Aishwarya herself. Abhishek who was busy shooting joined in the celebrations post his work. Dressed in kurta-pyjama, the lanky actor was seen welcoming guests at the entrance of his palatial residence. Among the guest lists were all Bollywood biggies including Karan Johar, Bipasha Basu, Preity Zinta, Rohan Sippy, Farah Khan, Manish Malhotra and the biggest of them all, Shah Rukh Khan. King Khan reportedly arrived at Abhishek’s residence post midnight and sources reveal that the superstar stayed on till 4 in the morning. Papa Amitabh too, like his son had a working day yesterday and reached home well past midnight. We chanced upon his late night 1 am post which read – “It’s Abhishek’s birthday. Work continues though for us both and now some friends over to celebrate.” Looks like work comes first for the Bachchans.
