Sandhya, the petite bahu of TV, is all set to show her mettle in her final war against the extremist group in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum (Sashi Sumeet Productions Ltd). As seen so far, Roma (Charu Asopa) has been the betrayer in the group of cadets and had been working for the extremist group by sneaking out information from the national army team. With her real face now unveiled in front of the cadet group, Roma will be seen crossing all lines to achieve her deeds. Officer Singh (Maninee Mishra), who is in the clutches of the group, will be held at gun point by her capturers. Standing alone to save the officer will be Sandhya (Deepika Singh). But with her weak eye sight creating trouble while taking an aim, it will get difficult for her to save her leader from the enemy. Informs a source, “Roma will inform her team members about Sandhya’s aiming weakness after which the extremists will be confident of winning the war and killing officer Singh.” But being the popular bahu on Indian TV, how can one even imagine of Sandhya failing in her task. Well, viewers will be surprised when Sandhya will pick up the gun and aim straight at the chief of the extremist group (Akhilendra Mishra) and injure him badly. And soon, the other cadets will also come on the spot and a fight will ensue between the two sides. But with Sandhya injuring the chief and gaining confidence with the gun, the cadets will win and set their injured officer free while capturing the members of the extremist group. With Sandhya proving her abilities, will she win the cadet of the year award and achieve her dream of becoming an IPS officer? We called up Deepika but she remained unavailable for comment.
