Choreographer and Indian director Farah Khan was born on 9th Januray 1965. She is the daughter of screenwriter Honey Irani and is the sister of Indian director and entertainer Sajid Khan. She graduated from St Xaviers College, Mumbai with a degree in Sociology.She got her first major stint as a choreographer when famous choreographer Saroj Khan walked off the sets of famous Aamir Khan starrer Joh Jeeta Woh Sikandar.Farah Khan just like her brother Sajid Khan is a self made individual and through her hardwork and passion has made her mark.She continued to choreograph a lot of songs and movies like Kabhi haan Kabhi Naa,Pehla Nasha,DDLJ,Viraasat,Koi... Mil Gaya,Kal Ho Naa Ho,Border,Dil se, Monsoon Wedding,Dil Chahta hai,Dabangg,Tees Maar Khan,Delhi Belly,Jaaneman, Paheli and a number of hits that rocked te box office as well as topped the top 50 charts on various music channels. Farah Khan made her directorial debut with the reincarnation drama Om Shanti Om in 2007 which was a blockbuster and was one of the highest grossing films of the year. FarahKhan then directed the much hyped Akshay Kumar starrer Tees Maar Khan which failed miserably at the box office but the music was a major hit.She also directed the multi-starrer Main hoon Na which was a mjor success and proved her mettle as a director. She is now working on her next directorial venture called Happy New Year which will go on floors soon. She has had her best projects with King Khan and share a great friendship which has strengthened over the years.She married Shirish Kunder, the editor of her film Main Hoon Na,in 2004 and gave birth to her triplets Czar,Diva,and Anya. She also choreographed popstar Shakira for her music video on MTV.
