Sharman Joshi belongs to a Gujarathi family. He was born on the 17th March, 1979. He is an Indian film and theatre actor. Sharman Joshi's father Arvind Joshi is a Gujarathi film actor and screen writer. He is married to Prem Chopra's daughter Prerna Chopra. They have a daughter called Khyana who was born in the year 2005 and two twins Vihaan and Vaaryan were born in the year 2009. He is the brother of Mansi Joshi who is an actress, she is also married to Rohit Roy. He was nominated for the prestigious Filmfare best comedian award for his performance in Golmaal. Three years later he was also nominated for his role in 3 Idiots. He has played supporting roles in the following movies Rang De Basanti, Golmaal, life in a....metro, and 3 Idiots. His next film was Ferrari Ki Sawaari which released in the year 2012 where he played the lead role and it also got him critical acclaim. In the popular play All The best is a Gujarathi version of the play. He played a role of a deaf person which he found very difficult to do. He has been awarded and honoured with the life membership of International Film and Television Club Of Asian Academy of Film and Television. He also acted in the movie Hello which is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's book One Night at a call center. In the year 2010 IIFA best supporting actor for the movie 3 Idiots. he made his debut in the movie 'The Godmother' where he played the son of Shabana Azmi. He was a playback singer for the song Give me some sunshine, give me some rain. He is the son-in law of Prem Chopra. As an actor he has grown with all his performances in his movies. He played Sukhi in the movie Rang De Basanti.
