Balaji Vishwanath, played by ace actor Manish Wadhwa is a typical example of a family-oriented, intelligent, imaginative fighter with a nationalistic and strategistic approach. Radhabai, played by Anuja Sathe was the second wife of Balaji Vishwanath. A beautiful lady, ambitious, sharp-witted and intelligent, Radhabai used to indulge in discussing political and social matters with her husband Vishwanath. Radhabai was a very affectionate mother, who wanted to nurture her kids in the best ways possible. Even after becoming a widow, she was actively involved in the upbringing of her kids, and also used to have a good connection, politically and socially.
Tarabai, essayed by Pallavi Joshi was the daughter-in-law of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. After the death of her husband Rajaram, Tarabai took over the reins of the Maratha kingdomand continued their resilience against the Mughal onslaught led by Aurangzeb himself. She offered the much-needed leardership to the Maratha army at their time of need.
Aurangzeb, played by Rahul Singh, will be shown as a tired but still confident old man. Though withdrawn, he wanted to go past the Marathas. His long life was credited to endless work, prayer and religious exercises. He held the dream of overtaking Babar in his achievements.
