The show will be produced by Aniruddh Pathak and the production company Writer's Galaxy. The story is based on the book of Gujarati writer Kanhaiyalal Munshi. The show is the first production of Sony Pictures Networks India's sub-branch, SET Originals. It will premiere on 20 January 2018. The show will comprise of 2 seasons, each having 40 episodes.
