MUMBAI: Barrister Babu is a much-loved show.
A lot is going on in the ongoing track of the show. Previously, Anirudh comes to Krishnanagar after leaving Bondita in London to meet Thaku maa. He pleads for Bondita's happiness and asks them to forget about all the past fights. But Thaku maa has her revenge in her head. Rimjhim asks Shomik to call the police but Anirudh tells them that he has already informed and he is ready to go to jail. Thaku maa asks Shomik to bring her gun and points it at Anirudh.

Thaku maa stops Rimjhim from calling the police, instead, she fires the gun pointing at Anirudh's head and calls it her justice for taking her granddaughter away.
In the upcoming episode, Bondita is finally a grown-up girl (Anchal Sahu) and she sends a letter to Sumati maa about her return. In these eight years, Bondita has graduated and become a Gold Medalist in law. She has made Anirudh's dream come true.
But back in Krishnanagar and Tulsipur, things are different. Trilochan mentions a dreadful past incident due to which he detests Anirudh. On the other hand, Chandrachur has become Thaku maa's right hand and helps her keep the terror alive amongst the villagers.
Bondita sees Chandrachur on the station and hides in a coal jeep and heads to Tulsipur. She gets welcomed by stones thrown at her and is taken to see Barrister Babu with tied hands and a covered face. She is shocked to see the changed Anirudh, he is filled with enmity and hatred towards Krishnanagar and Thaku maa.
