MUMBAI: The upcoming episode of Star Plus serial Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein is high on emotion. At the same time, it will bring a smile to your face.

Well, Virat and Sayi are occupied with post-wedding rituals. The latest one is name-changing ritual wherein Virat will have to choose a new name for his wife Sayi.

This ritual upsets Sayi as she does not want to change her name. This name is very close to her heart as it was her late father who had chosen it for her. When she tells the same to Bhavani, she gets angry. Bhavani instead tells her rudely that she cannot get carried away because of emotions and give less importance to rituals.

She further tells Sayi that everyone has changed their names after entering this house, so she too will have to follow the rule. Sayi then asks why it was not the same with Pakhi. She says that if Pakhi was allowed to not change her name then why she is forced to observe the ritual.

Bhavani says that it’s not the wife but husband’s decision that matters, and without wasting any more time, she orders Virat to write a new name for Sayi.

With no option left, he follows the ritual. And when Sayi is asked to look at the plate of rice to see her new name, she denies it with a broken heart.

However, Virat’s action wins her heart.

Any guesses why? Well, he writes the name ‘Sayi’.

It is indeed a lovely gesture! But how will Bhavani react to it?
