MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a major turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.

We saw a huge leap in the show after which Meethi and Cheeni are all grown up.

In the latest episode, we saw that Imlie and Atharva are about to get engaged. Atharva still thinks he is going to marry Cheeni.

Chini sends a message and rejects the marriage proposal on behalf of Imlie when Atharva messages Imlie.

In the engagement ceremony, Atharva gets shocked to learn the truth about his would-be wife. When he is asked to put the ring on, Imlie advances her hand and Atharva is left shocked as Rudra announces Imlie as the to-be daughter-in-law of Rana family.

In the upcoming episode, we will see that Atharva asks his father to talk to him privately in the middle of the engagement ceremony. This worries everyone.

Atharva reveals to Rudra that he loves Cheeni and cannot marry Imlie. Rudra is shocked to learn this and says that Cheeni is not fit to be their daughter-in-law.

On the other hand, Imlie can’t stop crying and Cheeni instigates her by saying that maybe Atharva has changed his mind about marrying Imlie. Cheeni then explains to everyone how Imlie and Atharva are different from each other and not fit for each other.

Atharva on the other hand is stubborn about marrying Cheeni and breaking it off with Imlie. Rudra gets furious and slaps him. Rudra’s sister tries to explain to him that if Atharva is not happy, he should not force the two to get together.

Will Atharva break Imlie’s heart? Will Cheeni get what she wants?
