We already know that once Arjun wakes up, he is shocked to see his face and is revealed to be Karan. He goes to the Luthra mansion and Rakhi gets hysterical over sensing his presence and he leaves from there but not before seeing Preeta and Rishabh, all happy with their family.
He wants revenge and due to which he locks Preeta to die, but couldn’t go through with it as recalls their moments. He brings her back to consciousness. She decides against killing her and instead will punish her with an alternative method.
However, when he sees Kritika struggling with some bullies, he beats them up, saving her. She expresses her gratitude towards him.
Further, he decides to defame Preeta in the eyes of the society, and so creates a scene where it appears that she is having an affair with him.
