MUMBAI: The makers of Arhaan Behll and Pooja Gor-starrer "Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2" brought in a new twist in the show when Krishna's mother along with Komal plans to get rid of Pratigya. She feels Krishna has become a different person altogether since he got married to Pratigya, and Komal too agrees.

Seeing her son come back from the dead, makes her plot against Pratigya, and she decides to kill her by poisoning her slowly. She also plans that once Pratigya is dead she will get Krishna married again. 

Meanwhile, the family meets Meera who introduces herself as the care taker of the farmhouse. She expresses her desire to meet Krishna and instantly develops a liking for him. 

The next day, the family gathers together to celebrate Krishna and Pratigya's anniversary, but Pratigya faints there too. On Amma's persuasion, she visits a doctor who informs her about her illness. Pratigya is suspected of blood cancer and has a few months left. 

Unaware of Pratigya's illness, Krishna arranges for a date for her. While they are having a romantic moment, Pratigya gets emotional as she realises that this will be their last anniversary. Her kids also join them at the farmhouse. Pratigya along with Amma now plans on choosing a suitable wife for Krishna and a perfect mother for Garv and Kirti. Just at that moment, Meera enters.

The show, which is being led by Pearl Grey as the showrunner, creative producer and writer, and produced under Rajan Shahi's banner Director's Kut Productions, airs on Star Bharat from Monday to Friday at 8:30 p.m.
