MUMBAI: COLORS' new show 'Neerja...Ek Nayi Pehchaan' showcases the inspiring journey of a mother and daughter who strive against all odds for a brighter future.
With its gripping promo, the show promises to be a rollercoaster of emotions, featuring an ensemble cast of talented actors including Kamya Punjabi, Sneha Wagh, Aastha Sharma, Rajveer Singh, versatile actor Ayub Khan and talented Vibha Chibber.

Previously we saw that Neerja and Abeer have returned to Neerja’s house to fulfill all the rasams, but she is unable to meet her mother and she is surprised to see Didun there.
Didun asks her for fifty thousand rupees, which Neerja questions and she is surprised as to why Didun would ask her for money. Didun gets incredibly upset hearing that and starts blackmailing Neerja. Abeer overhears the whole thing and decides to get the matter sorted.
Neerja feels helpless because she couldn’t do anything to stop Didun.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that, Moushmi notices Neerja's care for Abeer and expresses appreciation by serving her kheer. Kaushik becomes increasingly frustrated as the accountant declines to reveal information regarding the 5 lakh rupees given by Bijoy to Didun. Chakri informs Neerja about Protima's ailment and an opportunity to see her while Didun is away. Neerja reaches Sonagachi and avoids being seen by Babban. Upon reaching the badi, she hears Protima coughing, but unfortunately, Didun catches her.
