MUMBAI: Colors’ show Molkki is an interesting drama.
The show features Priyal Mahajan, Amar Upadhyay and Toral Rasputra in pivotal roles.
The concept of the film is based on a practise in Northern India of bride buying where poor girls are sold off as brides to rich men.

The story revolves around Purvi, a 19-year-old girl who becomes the molkki bride of 42-year-old chief Virendra Pratap Singh, a widower, and father of four children. She fights for her and other molkki brides' rights, as well as fulfil her responsibilities as wife, daughter-in-law, mother, and chieftess of Rewari.
The show focuses on an important drama currently wherein everything gets messed up and worsens between Virendra and Purvi when Sakshi manipulates the situation by framing Yogi and Purvi’s one-night stand.
Virendra badly misunderstands Purvi and cuts off all his ties with her when Purvi ultimately agrees to the accusation. Purvi herself doesn’t know that how she ended up in bed with Yogi thus she believes that she is at fault.
And now this leads to their once and for all separation.
As Virendra and Purvi part ways from each other, the story takes the leap.
With the true revelation of Purvi’s innocence, how Virendra will convince her again is worth watching next in the show.
