MUMBAI: Kumkum Bhagya is a popular show, and it is easy to see why. It appeals to those who believe that opposites attract as well as those who believe in fate and that if fate brings two people together, they will stay together regardless of what happens.
The show is currently focusing on Prachi and Ranbir and how they are dealing with their ups and downs. Rhea is adamant about creating a distance between Prachi and Ranbir.
While Ranbir has confessed his feelings for Prachi because of Rhea's new trick and Prachi's trust has been broken and she is distraught over Ranbir's grave mistake.

Previously, in the show, we saw Rhea as the target of Ranbir's rage. He reminds her of what he said on Vikram and Pallavi's wedding anniversary. He tells her that he confessed his love for Prachi in front of Rhea. He recalls holding Prachi's hand and telling her that she is his real wife and that he adores her. Rhea confirms that she recalls it.
He asks if she remembers this, and if she does, why did she sleep with him just to spend a wedding night with him? Rhea is chastised by him for calling her love true and for lowering herself to this level just to win him. He tells her that she will never be able to claim that she loves him again. He goes on to say that she has ruined any sort of respect he had for her.
Meanwhile, in the Mahasangam, Rishi admits to only loving Malishka, according to Lakshmi. She can't believe his emotions in response to his words. She asks Shahana what she will do if she is allowed to go after Rhea. Prachi loves Rhea, Shahana says, and she won't let her do anything to her.
Ranbir can not wrap his head around the incidents that are taking place, he tries to talk to Prachi but she has become rigid and won't respond to him, even Shahana and Dida are giving Ranbir the cold shoulder.
In the upcoming track, Rhea tells Ranbir that he was drunk and he was the one who initiated getting close to her, and she is not the kind of girl he should question the character of.
Ranbir is perplexed and is trying to find out the truth and things leading up to him getting drunk.
Ranbir and Prachi are more estranged than ever, Ranbir is feeling very guilty. Ranbir trie to some evidence, as he is looking through Rhea's things and her wardrobe, she walks in and she is shocked. She starts lashing out at Ranbir and tells him that maybe she should not trust him at all and be cautious.
