Earlier in the day…we wrote about Anil Kapoor intending to spend more time with the family. And now we have learned that he has gone ahead and invested in buying one of the biggest indoor film studios in the city situated in Andheri East. The studio has yet not been named yet. It is understood that the first project that will go on floors in this studio will be the actor's adaptation of the <em>American series 24</em>, in which he himself made a guest appearance.

Anil Kapoor has put his film career on hold as he starts shooting for his prestigious series 24. In the last six months he has said no to offers from Raj Kumar Santoshi, Rensil d’Silva, Yashraj Films and Prabhu Deva. Until then he is busy looking into what the tirelessly energetic actor describes as “family matters”. A little probing revealed that Anil is actually trying to set his son Harshvardhan’s career plans in order. Harsh, the apple of the family’s eye, has decided to become cinema savvy.

Though his last film Delhi Belly hit the bull’s eye, director Abhinay Deo has been lying low for some time. But, right now, he is through with not one but four scripts – an out-an-out comedy, a drama (based on relationships), a period drama and a children’s film. Deo will decide which one to take up first only once he is done with <em>24</em> (based on the <em>American series 24</em>), the television series he is co-producing with Anil Kapoor and directing it too. It is said that Deo will produce these films himself and will tie up with a corporate house.
