Star Plus introduces afternoon band of shows

24 Frames upcoming drama for Star Plus ropes in a talented actor. The show will take up an afternoon slot.

It seems that Star Plus is all set to make major changes in its programming schedule. Tellychakkar.com has been receiving leads from credible sources that Shakuntalam Telefilms’ <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/daksh-and-naina-celebrate-their-first-karwa-chauth>Sapno Se Bhare Naina</a></em> and Shobana Desai Productions’ <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/hamari-devrani-jumps-17-years-bhakti-dies>Hamari Devrani</a></em> are all set to face the axe. Both the shows will go off air on 3 February 2012.

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/hamari-saas-leela-shifted-afternoon-slot>Hamari Saas Leela</a> was supposed to be aired for the last time tonight but it was given another lease of life by the channel which decided to shift it to the afternoon slot. However the latest is that the show will remain off air for a week and later brought back.

Colors’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/datta-gets-back-drinking-laagi>Laagi Tujhse Lagan</a> has been struggling to gain numbers since the past couple of months and now the channel has decided to air it in the afternoon slot. Furthermore, <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/veer-shivaji-tipped-go-air-aug-26>Veer Shivaji</a></em> that is currently on air every Friday and Saturday will replace <em>Laagi</em>… and will reportedly be aired five days a week from October 3.

If rumours are to be believed then <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/karan-mehra-return-behenein>Behenein</a> may get a new slot. We had reported earlier about the channel planning to wrap up the show after its contract expired but now the channel has a new strategy and is thinking of shifting to a noon slot.
