Netflix is rolling out some very interesting series and now, the OTT platform presents a new series titled Ray starring Manoj Bajpayee, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor and Ali Fazal.

Viacom18 Media has appointed Ajit Andhare as COO of its film business, Viacom18 Motion Pictures. He replaces Vikram Malhotra who put in his papers some time back to pursue his entrepreneurial interests. Andhare will be responsible for the growth and profitability of Viacom18 Motion Pictures and will be reporting to Viacom18 Media, Group CEO Sudhanshu Vats. He will also lead Viacom18 Motion Pictures’ distribution alliance with Paramount Pictures.

Colosceum Media Pvt. Ltd, makers of diverse shows like Roadies, Splitsvilla, Shri Krishna, Meera et al now look forward to their next fiction show in <em>Bani-Ishq da Kalma</em> for Colors. The show which they co-produce along with Writer turned Producer Damini Shetty’s Mystic Productions depicts the culture of Punjab in a realistic way.

Star Plus’ most touted <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/star-whip-master-chef-september>Master Chef</a> is tipped to launch in October. The auditions for the show have already begun and the channel is all set to launch it at prime time. Rajiv Laxman of <em>Roadies</em> fame is the creative head of the show.
