Amit Dua<em> aka </em> Sameer of Star's<em> Kyunki </em> who was supposed to play second lead in <em> Kasturi</em> now tltled as<em> Karam apna apna</em> has opted out of the show. <em> Karam apna apna </em> would have actually been this Delhite's big break in tellydom. But owing to certain last minute changes in his character Amit decided not to go ahead with it.

Amit is on cloud nine! After <em>Kyunki...</em> now he has bagged another important role from the house of Balaji, in <em>Kasauti Zindagi Ki…</em> After all it was the actor's desire to work with Balaji telefilms that lured him to Mumbai and now with so many Balaji serials life really can't get better than this for this handsome Delhite. "Certainly it feels great to be part of one of the best known production house in the television industry."

The Balaji camp is all set to add a new K to its kitty. The show in question is <em>Kasturi</em> (as the tentative title goes) inspired by Yash Chopra's yesteryears' romantic hit Silsila. Sources reveal that the upcoming serial will go on air by the end of August.

Next time, while watching <em>Kyunki...</em> if you hear a new background score, "he's a bad boy, bad boy…", on the lines of "Mooooohini", it wil be for a new character Sameer, to be essayed by Amit Dua. "I feel as if my long cherished dream has realised..." After receiving accolades for his performance in <em>Sath Rahega Always</em> on Sahara and Siddhant, on Star One, <em>Kyunki....</em> is this Delhite's next big venture.
