Yesterday (12 April 2012), the TV industry got a jolt with the news of Imagine TV shutting down. <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/changragupta-maurya-aka-ashish-fractures-his-nose-sets>Ashish Sharma</a> was playing the lead in the channels top-rated show <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/chandragupta-maurya-completes-100-episodes>Chandragupta Maurya</a></em>, and in a day’s time he became jobless. Ashish was also left shell-shocked with the news. But now he has got the hang of the feeling and got himself busy with something more interesting.

Yet another mishap for Ashish Sharma!!

Tellychakkar.com earlier reported that Ashish Sharma, who plays the protagonist in Imagine's <em> Chandragupta Maurya</em> got a long cut on his nose, which goes up till his right cheek. His nose was almost broken when a stuntman hit an artificial sword straight onto his nose. And sadly, history repeated itself just today (24 January 2012) when the TV actor got a bad bruise on his left cheek. This incident took place at around 2 am.

Changragupta Maurya aka Ashish fractures his nose on sets

Actions sequences have to be carefully monitored or else they might end up as disasters. And historical and mythological shows can surely be the ideal place for such mishaps. Chandragupta Maurya to be shot in Mumbai and Baroda

Imagine’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/mrignayni-and-purushdutt-die-chandragupta-maurya>Chandragupta Maurya</a> is one mythological show that has managed to impress TV viewers and critics alike. The show was being shot in Baroda, but the latest news is that the production house has decided to shift its shooting base to Mumbai. However, the cast and crew will go back to Baroda to shoot the indoor sequences as Dhanadanda’s palace (set) is still there.

Dhanananda to kidnap Chanakya in Chandragupta Maurya

Alexander wants to sentence Chandragupta to death

TellyChakkar had already reported about Chandragupta poisoning the soldiers in the Greek army in <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/mrignayani-come-face-face-chandragupta-maurya"><em>Chandragupta Maurya</em></a>. Alexander’s Army General has finally got to know that Chandragupta <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/interviews/yashashree-gifted-me-poster-mine-ashish-sharma">(Ashish Sharma)</a> is responsible for the depletion of the Greek army. In the upcoming episodes he will inform Alexander the Great about this who will then want to sentence Chandragupta to death.
