Sid Makkar, who rose to fame with Zee's Betiyaan is enjoying his current stint with <em>Mere Apne </em>on 9X. He is essaying the role of Shankar, the youngest son of Kashinath Pandey (Vinod Khanna) in the show. Sid is so fond of Shankar's character that now he wants to be like him in real life as well. "Shankar is the character that is very close to my heart. I would love to be like him in my real life too," says Sid.

Yuvraj Malhotra of <em> Betiyaan</em> fame is busy hunting for a house in the city. The handsome actor is currently living in a rented flat in Andheri. Apparently he wanted to buy a house since a long time and has been saving up for the same. “I had been thinking of buying a house since long but was waiting for the right time. Now I feel I have made enough money to buy a flat,” says Yuvraj.

Jasveer Kaur's on cloud nine! The leggy actor who's currently been seen as Kajri in Zee's <em> Betiyaan</em>, is also gearing up to for the shoot of her upcoming music video. When we spoke to the actor to confirm the buzz, she said, "I'll be shortly leaving for Dubai for the shoot of the music video. In fact, we were supposed to take off on the sixth of this month but had to postpone the date due to some pending details."

It's going good for Zee TV once again. The channel has managed to rope in audiences with<em> Saat Phere </em>and<em> Kasamh Se</em> which have proved to be a real competition for the rival channels. Now, it's the turn of <em>Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</em>, which was launched with a lot of fanfare to counter Star's Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki in the 10 pm slot. A few months back the show invited a lot of flak for its regressive representation of women but now it seems to be getting on the right track. Now, its back in news once more.
