Dame Judi Dench hates being called a 'national treasure'

MUMBAI: Iconic English actress Dame Judi Dench does not like being called a national treasure.

On David Tennant's podcast, Dench opened up on her journey as an actress and why she loathes the term "national treasure", reports dailymail.co.uk.

"I loathe those words, I loathe them. It's something very, very dusty behind a glass and in a corner. It's a relic and I don't want to be a relic," she said.

Dench also shared that she likes to play evil villains roles on screen.

Taylor Swift sends handwritten note to fan getting his PhD

MUMBAI: Taylor Swift is celebrating a fan's milestone. Over the weekend, one of the singer's biggest fans shared that Swift had sent him a sweet memento after learning that he was about to get his PhD, short for Doctor of Philosophy. "Andy, someone told me you're about to finish your PhD! I wanted to congratulate you on this incredible accomplishment and to applaud you for all the hard work you've put into our studies. This is EPIC!!" Swift, 30, wrote in the handwritten note.

Song Joong Ki and Kim Tae Ri starrer Space Sweepers delayed yet again

MUMBAI: Fans hoping to watch Song Joong Ki and Kim Tae Ri's upcoming space movie Space Sweepers will have to wait longer. The sci-fi movie was previously delayed to release in September. However, it has been revealed that the movie is getting a new release date again. The delay in release has been decided after there was a resurgence of COVID 19 cases in South Korea, especially in Seoul metropolitan area. This has led to push the government into taking stricter measures to curb the surge.
