TV Scriptwriter turns author!

Tuhin A. Sinha, a television scriptwriter for over two years has now turned an author with a book titled,<em> That Thing Called Love.</em> The launch will happen today with the likes of Pooja Bedi and Shekhar Suman reading excerpts from the book. For someone who started as a freelance journalist and went on to scripting episodic screenplays for<em> Pyar Ki Kashti Mein, Dekho Magar Pyar Se, Tumhari Disha and Koi Dil Mein Hai, </em>launching a book has been a natural progression.

Dimple Inamdar walks into Kumkum

Dimple Inamdar, (<em>Ek ladki Anjani Si, Dekho Magar Pyar Se</em>) will be seen as Kamya Verma on the forthcoming episodes of B.A.G Films' afternoon soap Kumkum. Dimplw will start shooting for the show from 13 January and play a very important character, who will be central to the plot. "I play a London based girl who is very patriotic. She is a simple girl with her morals and ethics in place. She enters the Wadhwa household when she returns to India and the drama unfolds from there on," says Dimple, who will also be seen in forthcoming epiosdes of <em>CID Special Bureau</em>.

Anupam Bhattacharya back in 'DMPS'

Anupam Bhattacharya, Nikki's nemesis in <em>Dekho Magar Pyar Se</em>, is back. He is all set to pay back Nikki for sending him to jail. Anupam, who played Sudhir in Zee's mega serial, <em>Koshish Ek Asha</em>, and more currently can be seen as Punit in SaharaOne's <em>Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki</em>, will sport a very different kind of look in the show now. "Yes, I am back. I play the same character, but since my look has changed only Nikki will be able to recognize me," says Anupam, who has been part of the show since it begun.
