Doli Saja Ke

We had told you about Jas Arora replacing Anuj Saxena in Aruna Irani's Doli Saja Ke for Sahara One. But now it seems, even he has walked out of show after shooting for a few episodes. A little birdie told us Jas was made to wait for seven hours for a particular shooting sequence and then he was asked to wear glasses for a slightly mature look. For those uninitiated, the good looking hunk plays father to Barkha Bisht in the show and the role (a cameo of sorts - almost 20 episodes) was earlier slated to be enacted by Anuj Saxena but he recently quit it on grounds of inordinate delays.

It's not that the dashing Jas Arora has not essayed a role of a father on a TV show before. He was last seen in Star's Prithvi Raj Chohan, where he played the protagonist's papa, warrior king Someswar. And now he's been roped in to play papa again to Barkha Bisht in Aruna Irani's Doli Saja Ke for Sahara One. Not being deterred with the debacle of Sony's Vaidehi, Aroona Irani was already ready to join the TRP race again with her new show Doli Saja Ke for Sahara One. But there is some disappointment on that front too. This family saga was initially scheduled to go on air on 15th January which shifted to 22nd and last heard it's being postponed to February…..phew! Fingers are being pointed at the production house which seems to be facing some teething issues.
