Dulhan

One of the most watched shows on Zee,<em> Dulhan</em> is again going for a change in track. The current track has Sindoora (Kamya Punjabi) stabbing Harsh as he was helping Vidya (Divyanka) to get married to his son Amar (Sharad Malhotra). In the coming episodes Vidya will elope and secretly get married to Amar. “Yes, in the coming episodes I’ll elope and go to Amar’s place. We’ll get married and then return home,” says Divyanka

Manish Nagdev aka Chinu of<em> Dulhan</em> is quitting the show. The actor already has one show on 9X, <em>Jiya Jale</em>. It’s also heard that Manish is all set to do a new show on Zee. We caught the actor in a conversation. Aren’t you happy with the leap in<em> Dulhan?</em> I’m happy with the leap in <em>Dulhan</em> but for me it will be too awkward to call Sharad and Divyanka <em>beta aur beti</em> as they are of my age. I think I have done my bit for the show and even the production house is ok with it. How is <em> Jiya Jale</em> going on?

Additie Shirwakar who plays Chandramukhi in <em> Dulhan</em> is all set to play Sadia in <em> Subhan Allah</em> on Sony. It is interesting that she will get to explore two ends of the spectrum at the beginning of her career. First she played a Hindu girl and now a Muslim. And hence Additie is one happy actress.

Manish Naggdev aka Chinoo of<em> Dulhan</em> is recuperating from a bout of typhoid. Few days back the actor was down with viral fever and was diagnosed with typhoid. We recently heard that he had been admitted to a hospital for a couple of days. The actor returned home yesterday and was off for his shoot. Manish had to run down for an emergency shoot for his show. "The doctor has asked me to be on complete bed rest for two more weeks", says Manish. "But for me work comes first as it is my prior commitment and I cannot neglect it," adds Manish.

Sharad Malhotra has no time to party. Even on his birthday. Though it’s the actor’s birthday today he will not party as he is busy shooting. He is flying to Banaras today for the shoot and will party only after coming back. “There is no time to celebrate. I’m flying out of Mumbai for the shoot. May be tonight I’ll have dinner with the cast and crew of <em> Dulhan</em>,” says Sharad. “It’s a good time to visit Banaras and clean all my sins. Once I return from the shoot its gonna be party time with my friends,” he adds. Sharad is happy with his current work.

Amit Sadh, the guy who gave a powerful performance in Star One's <em>Guns n Roses</em>, will be doing KSera Sera productions' <em>Dulhan</em>, to be aired on Sony. The story is about three brothers and their relationship with their mother, played by Kiron Kher. The cast includes distinguished actors like Mahesh Thakur, and is being directed by Aashish Patil. "Dulhan has a very powerful storyline. And finally we have a story about men!" says Amit, who will also be seen in Cinevistaas soon to be aired action drama on SaharaOne.
