The actor claims to have had a lot of fun while shooting for the show and got beaten up by a rolling pin as well.

Jasveer Kaur who played the vicious Pavitra in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/after-leaving-maayka-zee-abandons-betiyann-0>Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</a> is all set to enter Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai as a <em>kothewali</em> (courtesan). The character of Pavitra too was that of a <em>kothewali</em> and of an antagonist. But in <em>Sajan</em>, she will be seen as a sweet, positive girl, Roop Kunwar, who apparently loves Ambika Bhavani (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/casting-gone-right-varun-khandelwal>Varun Khandelwal</a>)

Romit Raj aka Yuvraj of <em>Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</em> is entering <em>Bidaai</em>. The actor will play himself in the show. Few know that it was Rajan Shahi, the then director of <em>Betiyaan,</em> who got Romit the role of Yuvraj Garodia in the show. Romit who is playing a well-known TV star on the show has come to attend the wedding reception of Sadhana and Alekh. Talking about his role and character, Romit says, “I am going to play myself on the show. It is best moment of my life. This is a big compliment for me as the producer has zeroed down on me to play the character.”

It seems Nupur Alankar’s social deeds have influenced many on the sets of <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan.</em> All the actors from the show are helping one of the spot boys for his daughter’s marriage. They are contributing Rs.2000 each to help Hussain, the spot boy. Earlier Nupur Alankar had helped a spot boy named Badshah with money, some years ago when his son met with an accident. Then she funded Rafeeq, from the arts department, who needed money for his daughter’s marriage.

Twinkle Bajpai who was recently replaced in her debut show <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan,</em> after much mud-slinging from the production house, is all set to resurrect her career. The actress is doing an episodic for the horror show<em> Shh… Phir Koi Hai.</em> Strangely, she will play a witch on the show.

Nupur Alankar aka Halki bua of <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</em> had an unpleasant experience at a local bank today when she had to pay the price of being a celebrity, by becoming subject to the overtures of an elderly man. Nupur says, “There was a long queue and behind me there was a man in his late sixties who was continuously staring at me. I felt very uneasy and decided to shift away from him. At one point when it became unbearable, I requested the man to move ahead of me to which he blatantly refused.”

Tanushree Kaushal who plays the role of Menaka Garodia in Zee’s <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</em> had a heated argument with Sangmitra, executive producer of the show over a very trivial issue.

Sid Makkar, better known as Satyakaam of <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan</em> is back on television with the brand new show <em> Mere Apne</em> on 9X. He is going to essay the role of Shankar in the show. Elaborating on the character he says, ??€?“I??€â„?m playing the character of a raw, rugged action- oriented guy, a spoilt brat of a son to Smriti Irani and Vinod Khanna. Besides that I also sport a new look, with a beard and long hair, unconventional in today's shows as we see.??€Â?
