Currently his show on Star Plus<a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sadanand-kidnap-sanchis-father-ruk-jaana-nahin "><em> Ruk Jaana Nahin</em></a> is winning hearts of the masses. When we called him to come in the house as a guest editor, like a true sport, he agreed readily. “But what do I have to do?” he asked.

Producer and co-promoter of Playtime Creations <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ruk-jaana-nahi-banking-attractive-promos-gain-attention>Hemal Thakkar</a> is happy. So what’s new? Well, most producers would not be if they had a show of their’s axed as is the case is with Hemal whose <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/laagi-tujhse-lagans-datta-and-nakusha-have-lots-fun>Laagi Tujhse Lagan</a></em> is being yanked off Colors by on 6 January 2012.

Extensive marketing seems to be the mantra for a show’s success. Creative heads make sure they air the promos of their upcoming shows so many times that the viewers get sucked in to watching them. And it looks like Playtime Creations an Star Plus have similar plans in mind for their upcoming show <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ruk-jaana-nahi-tu-kahi-haar-ke-go-air-december-19>Ruk Jaana Nahi…Aa Rahi Hai Sanchi</a></em> that is based on college and political life in the north and which will be aired on Star Plus. The promos of this show are already on air.

Star Plus is back to being numero uno with 334 GRPs pushing Colors to the second position with 249 GRPs. Meanwhile, Sony is back to being no four edging out SAB this week. One of the most obvious reasons for the dip was attributed to the World Cup that ended a week ago. However, now with IPL that opened with an encouraging TVR of 7.14 according to TAM for the first match, we wonder if the TV shows will face the music?

Murli Sharma who was last seen in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/pssstshhhphir-koi-hai-returns-star-one>Ssshhh Phir Koi Hai</a> will return to the small screen soon. Sharma will be doing a month long cameo in <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/dutta-now-wed-nakusha>Laagi Tujhse Lagan</a></em>. He begins to shoot for the show tomorrow and will play <em>Hyderabadi</em> don Anna in the show.
