Just like last year, even this year we will get to see some big names in Pan-India South movies. Last year, Pushpa: The rise fetched a National Award to Allu Arjun and this year he is coming back with the second instalment of the movie.

Potential candidates have been buzzed by the formal announcement that has been shared on their social media accounts. Rishab Shetty is directing the prequel to the hit movie Kantara from last year. He announced the casting call on Instagram.
After receiving huge appreciation and accolades for part 1, Rishab Shetty has finally returned with Kantara’s prequel. Shetty, who acted in, wrote, and directed the Kannada superhit film, returns with his roles for Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1.
The actor claimed that the OTT giants' refusal of Kannada films is a "very bad sign" while speaking on Tuesday at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI). He also voiced his unhappiness with the organizations.
At a lavish celebration marking the completion of the film's 100 days of distribution, the Kantara team revealed plans to create a prequel. Not just the first look, we are also here with the teaser of Kantara Chapter 1.
