Kkusum

Kkusum completed a thousand episodes and went off air on 30 November. Not that many would have noticed. In the last few months, there had been too many plot changes, replacements and what have you. Obviously, then, there is no reason to have a bash to mark its end, yet we hear that Ekta Kapoor plans to hold a winding up party at her Juhu residence on 7 December. And it isn't just the Kkusum stars who have been invited. The invitee list reads more like a celeb who's who, with stars from other Balaji serials head of the list!

Kkusum is on the verge of ending after running successfully for five years on Sony yet the star cast seems to be expanding endlessly. Amit Behl and Nasir have been roped in Kkusum and have got good roles in the serial. While Amit Behl is playing Kusum's brother, Nasir is playing Kumud's love interest. "Kkusum might conclude by end of November and we have taken these two actors who have important characters and the story revolves around them. For the past five years we have been doing good work and plan to end it in a Balaji style," says director Jeetu Arora, .

Madhavan, who is all set to host Deal Ya No Deal on Sony on 23 November, will also been seen as a guest in Kudkudia...in the latter's first episode. But this is not an one off thing. Before Batliwalla House No.43 was replaced by Kudkudia...it had actors from Kkusum as its guests. Kudkudia...will air from 25 November. <strong>Kohinoor off to Goa!</strong> The cast and crew of SaharaOne's Kohinoor will be off to Goa in the wee hours of 11 November.

<strong> Has bubbly Ekta Sharma found her bunty boyfriend? </strong> Ekta Sharma, who is good at playing sister's roles (she played Abhay's sister in Kkusum once upon a time, and is also seen in Saara Aakash currently) was seen having a good time at Anuj Saxena's party the other night with a mystery man. If what a little bird tells us is true, the person in the picture is Alok Singh. The bubbly smile Ekta's flashing makes us wonder if it's her Mr. Right? Last night, at a glitzy do to introduce its new shows for the coming season to the media and marketing fraternity, the channel mingled performances by lead artistes of all the new series, with a live Khullja Sim Sim for the assembled folk.

<strong>Nausheen or Sangeeta?</strong> Humayyun of Ana (The Ego), the Indo-Pak serial starring Nausheen '<em>Kkusum</em>' Ali Sardar and Aamna 'Kashish' Shariff is planning another serial titled Pehchan with Juhi '<em>Kumkum</em>' Parmar in the lead. The grapevine has it that he might come in as a co-producer for a venture starring Divya Dutta which would probably have Sangeeta 'Pammi' Ghosh featured in it too. Now, we hear, Nausheen is also being considered for the same role. Or is it for another role, as some say?
