overworked and over exerted, Amit Sadh is in bed with fever, sore throat and a possible case of typhoid (he's waiting for his blood report to come in). That makes Amit and his partner, Neeru Bajwa, a doubtful starter for <em>Nach Baliye's</em> performance night this Thursday! "I have been working while running a temperature of 102-103 degree Celsius for the last three or four days for Kohinoor, and because of that <em>Nach Baliye</em> will suffer. I don't know if we will make it or not!" moans Amit, whose subdued voice reflects his physical state.

Vijayendra Ghatge and Soni Razdan, television veterans, will soon enter the <em>Kohinoor</em> storyline. Ghatge, who's been part of landmark serials like <em>Buniyaad</em> on Doordarshan in the past, will play Yaadvendra, a rich industrialist with a shady past. An influential person, it's rumoured that one of the reasons for his fast growth is his ability to convince people in the government to form policies that suit him and his business. He has muscle power and is an art collector by nature.

Neeru Bajwa and Amit Sadh - wherever he goes, her network follows! After <em>Guns n Roses</em> and <em>Nach Baliye</em> on Star One, this real life couple that plans to tie the knot later this year, will be seen together in SaharaOne's Kohinoor…only, this time she's doing a cameo! "Yes, I am doing the show, but unfortunately, I have a different track and thus we shoot on different days," sighs Neeru, who will play Rupali, Irawati's saviour. "Rupali suddenly comes out of nowhere to help Irawati. She knows Ira's grandfather, who is like a father to her," says Neeru.

The night was long, and boy did everyone enjoy it. Sahara celebrated the launch of their new thriller <em>Kohinoor</em> at the JW Marriot and in real style. With hookah, and fortune tellers, a dance floor and even caricature sketch makers, Sahara did all it takes to make it one ball! Seen at the party, a huge brigade of TV stars, Nikki Aneja, Mandira Bedi with husband Raj Kaushal, Mihir and Manini De Mishra, Tony and Diya Singh, Smriti Irani, who made a brief appearance.

<em>Kohinoor</em>, the much awaited action thriller on Sahara One is all set to hit television screens from 5 September. It was launched today in style in JWT Marriot in suburban Mumbai. As reported earlier (SaharaOne has a '<em>Kohinoor</em>' up its sleeve!) by Indiantelevision.com, the show stars Amit Sadh and Kuljeet Randhwa (Kuljeet is Kohinoor's glam quotient) and will be a half hour daily (Monday-Thursday) aired at 10:00 pm.

This one was really hard to unearth. But since we promised(SaharaOne has a 'Kohinoor' up its sleeve!) , we decided to take the plunge. We made phone call after phone call, but the female lead of the yet to be launched SaharaOne show, <em>Kohinoor</em>, seemed as elusive as the priceless diamond itself! But, as they say, if there is a will, there is always a way!
