If rumours are to be believed then if Star Plus and Balaji do not resolve their differences, then Ekta Kapoor may take <em>Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi</em> to 9X.

After Roshni Chopra it's now Ram Kapoor's turn. Ram who has donned a green off beat look for the role of J R Thakral, an eccentric business tycoon in Kyunki is suffering from an eye infection.. Our source from the sets reveals that `the infection was caused due to the contact lens that Ram is wearing for his new character." The incident took place two days ago when in the middle of a shoot Ram caught the infection. "Ram's eye was irritating a lot in the middle of the shoot. He was in pain and later in the evening his eyes turned red and were swollen," adds our source.

Apni Tulsi maiya has totally left the media confused. In spite of her death sequence in Kyunki, she continues to maintain this rather dilplomatic stand -`I will be back in Kyunki whenever Ekta wants me to.' On the other hand, the plucky producer Ekta says that Kyunki is really Smriti's show and is ridiculous to say that we've got her out.'

The latest buzz on the Balaji front is that the creatives of Kyunki have decided to kill Tanya's character essayed by Rakshanda Khan. At present the love triangle between Karan (Hiten Tejwani), Nandini (Gauri Pradhan) and Tanya (Khan) is on the forefront. Achint Kaur has replaced two of the most high profile vamps on television - Mandira in Kyunki...and Pallavi in Kahaani... She's turning out to be a quite a show stopper in both the shows. Everyone is liking her performance as the negative strength in these primetime shows. It seems she has become the lucky mascot for Balaji. Balaji gang (read the Kyunki…team) is all set to chill out in Goa to ring in the new year. The list includes Ekta Kapoor, Ritu Chaudhary, Amit Sareen with brother in tow, Shilpa and Apoorva Agnihotri with each getting their own friends too. While they all plan to go in separate groups separately and finally club in together in Goa. On the other hand, Tassnim Sheikh is all set to hit Goa with her fiancé and her old friends from India and abroad for a good five days.
