Child actor Bhatki Rathod returns to TV with Sajda

Remember Bhakti Rathod, guys? Well, if you are having a bit of difficulty to recall, then we are here to assist you. Bhakti started her career on TV with Shobha, Tulsi and Mihir’s daughter, in Balaji classic <em>Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi</em>. She also went to play a child artist in <em>Kis Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand</em>. Now, after a long time, she is making a comeback on TV.

Kyunki… crosses the 200 mark

A Unicef initiative on DD1, Kyunki… Jeena Issi Ka Naam Hai that had educated and inspired many viewers has crossed its 200 episodes mark. The show focuses on socially sensitive issues like the ill effects of child marriage, early pregnancy, gender equality and prevention of HIV/AIDS.

Kyunki,..mein anek twists

Reliable sources inform that <em> Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi </em> will soon deliver a big blow to its diehard fans. The show will have three major changes in the coming months. A death, a generation leap and an extension. <em> Kyunki..</em> is in for yet another generation leap of five years and in the process will come the biggest twist in the tale. Sources notify that <em>Baa</em> aka Sudha Shivpuri will finally die in the show.<em> Baa’</em>s currently age is 250 years in the show.

Balaji’s Khwaish to go off-air

Balaji Telefilms Ltd. which is known to make never-ending shows like <em> Kyunki and Kahaani </em> (www.tellychakkar.com) are planning to pull off another show after<em> Kasauti Zindagi Kay. Khwaish </em> on Sony will soon be laid to rest. The show was launched with much fan fare in July, 2007. Though the rumours of the show being pulled off were doing the rounds for a couple of months it has only now been confirmed. Sources tell us that it is due to the low TRPs that the production house is forced to pull the show off.

Cross overs-Do we see a new trend?

After <em> Kyunki</em> and<em> Kahanii,</em> there is another crossover for TV audiences. This time it’s for an afternoon slot with <em> Saarthi </em> and <em>Saarthi</em> coming together. The entire cast and crew of both the serials will be seen in the coming episode.

The makers of <em> Kyunki</em> and <em> Bhabhi</em> may soon have to hunt a replacement for Amit Tandon. The singer-turned-actor has now diverted his attention for his former love-music.

"Playing Sai Baba with shraddha has taken me places"

we saw him romancing Baa in <em> Kyunki</em> a few years ago. Now, veteran actor Sudhir Dalvi is back doing what he's good at - essaying the role of Sai Baba on Sony's<em>Shirdi Saibaba- Bhakton Ki Sachchi Kahaniyan</em>. And interestingly this is the fifth time in his career that Dalvi is playing Sai Baba.

Ronit Roy: Exciting week ahead

Ronit Roy is an excited man these days. Especially about the coming week. For two reasons. First, he says he is looking forward to some good news which will give viewers another chance to see him on the small screen. "There's a new show I am discussing with a production house. I should know which way the talks will go this week," he says. This week is also important for him because his character of Inder in <em> Kayamath </em> on Star Plus is going to come into the limelight. "The twists and turns are going to come up this week," he says. "The plot is going to get interesting."
