Shahid Kapoor has just had a double setback with two replacements in his forthcoming starrers. Firstly, it has come to light that Shahid has been replaced by Imran Khan who will now play the lead role in the sequel of Vishal Bhardwaj’s <em>Kaminey</em>. Trade circles say that of late, Bhardwaj has been praising a lot of his latest hero, Imran. An insider also goes to say that the director even went on to compare Imran with other actors he has worked with in the past including Shahid and Saif Ali Khan.

The launch of Yash Raj Films’ Maneesh Sharma directed untitled film has been postponed. The film was originally scheduled to go on floor this September. The decision was taken by Maneesh and Jaideep Sahni along with Aditya Chopra. The unfortunate fallout of this is that Shahid Kapoor, who was to play the lead, has had to pull out of the project because of his other commitments. With three other back-to-back projects, Shahid was not able to readjust his dates to accommodate the revised schedule.
