Sarrkkar to go off air in April

Another Zee show has ended it's run! After Rabba..., now, it's the turn of the political drama, Sarrkkar, to go off air. With the way things are going, it seems that the channel has decided to pull the plug off their present shows to perhaps accomodate shows that are waiting in the pipeline. "We had a contract of 52 episodes, which expires in April and the channel's taken a call not to extend it," says producer, Manish Goswami.

Manish Goswami hits a Six!

Expect the unexpected from Siddhant Cinevision! Just as the political drama Sarkaar launches on Zee TV probably 18 April, Manish Goswami is set to hit the ball over the boundary line...quite litearlly! Manish's next serial has been titled Sixer. The show is being pitched for Star One. No prizes for guessing that it will be based on India's passion, that is, cricket. A little bird tells us that the show will focus on rivalry between two cricketers belonging to the same team. The two main roles are being essayed by newcomers.
