Film Farm’s Kashi is shutting shop on June 25. The show had recently taken a 10-year leap and had brought in new actors. <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/kashi-take-10-year-leap>Kashi</a></em> was launched three months back, but could not fetch good TRPs prompting the channel to pull it off. Our source from the show says, “There was talk about the show being pulled off for a long time now. The leap was one of the measures to boost ratings. Unfortunately it could garner only 0.2 so now it is going off air and next Friday is our last telecast.”

The latest TV show to offer big booty is the forthcoming quiz show produced by Big Synergy for Imagine. The show tipped to be hosted by <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/now-quiz-show-tv-shows>R Madhavan</a> is believed to be shelling out Rs 1 crore as prize money.

TellyChakkar was the first to report the news of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/utv-s-rakta-sambhandh-imagine>Imagine</a>’s new quiz show being produced by <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/zee-tv-takes-back-project-big-synergy>Big Synergy</a>. Now a source tells us, “The latest on the show is it has been tentatively titled <em>Bada Game Kheloge</em>, but is likely to change. The other details regarding the show are still being decided.”

After <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/roadies-anmol-now-desi-girl>Desi Girl</a>, it will be a quiz show for <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/utv-s-rakta-sambhandh-imagine>Imagine</a> produced by Siddarth Basu’s Big Synergy.

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/manish-naggdev-enter-palkon-ki-chaaon-mein>Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein</a> has been making news for quite some time now for its unexpected twists and turns and also for its probability of going off air soon. The shocking comeback of Karan (Shoaib Ibrahim) from the dead has added to the speculations. To get a clearer picture we asked Rashmi Sharma, the show producer. She says, “The show is doing very well and the TRPs are consistent. We are not ending the show. They are all rumours.”

Shakuntalam Telefilms’ Devi is all set to take a leap next month beginning with the little girl growing up to a teenage girl and it is post this leap that Devi’s mother will also realise that her daughter is no common girl but is immortal. The show will take its leap three months from its launch.

Balaji’s latest offering <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sarvaguna-sampanna-start-shooting-kolhapur>Sarvagun Sampann</a> has finally got the 7 pm time slot. So contrary to speculation, the show won’t replace any of the existing shows on Imagine. However the channel has a different strategy now to air this show at an earlier slot.

TellyChakkar had recently reported about <a href= http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/lead-girl-jamuniya-down-jaundice-story-track-delayed>Bhavna Khatri</a>, the lead girl of Imagine’s show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/manmohan-tiwari-new-kanhaiya-town>Jamuniya</a>, being down with jaundice. Her sickness had forced the production house to alter the storyline of the show and focus on her two sisters, thus dragging the story further. The show is running an important track of Jamuniya’s wedding and Khatri’s ill-health has definitely affected the pace of the show.

Balaji Telefilms’ Sarvaguna Sampanna on Imagine is going to start its first shooting schedule in Kolhapur from April 18. Pooja Bose and Nivedita Saraf are expected to be part of this schedule.
