A prominent newspaper in Mumbai reported that Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.. had auctioned a guitar, signed by all five judges, for over Rs.8 lakhs. The proceeds from this will go to charity. While the news of the auction is true, the figure stated is untrue.
Creative Head Payaol Patel says, "The bidding isn't over yet. The auction will continue for another week before we'll announce the winner. We haven't disclosed any amount yet. The figure that's appeared on paper is completely fake."
So, all you Sa Re... admirers, the window is not shut yet. So, go get your guitar.
