Stars get pious on Radha Ki Betiyaan

With Lord Krishna’s birthday celebrations around the corner the devout actors on <em> Radha Ki Betiyaan</em> are in a celebratory mood. As they prepare to celebrate <em>Janmashtami </em> on the sets of the show the atmosphere is very joyous and spiritual. With most of the actors being followers of Lord Krishna they are looking forward to shooting of the scene. “Radha and her<em> betiyaan</em> are big followers of Lord Krishna so definitely there is a big celebration of the festival,” says Ragini Khanna one of the leads in the show.

Play station on the sets of Radha Ki Betiyaan

The show which depicts the youth of today, <em> Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi </em> on NDTV Imagine is having a gala time during the shoot. Three lads of the show Nikhil Roy, Abhimaan Balhara and Vivek Madam have a play station on the sets. “When ever all three of us get time, we pounce on to the video games that we have in our play station on the sets,” says Nikhil. “I love to play war games and car racing like NFS. Sometimes if Aproova is on the sets he also joins the gang,” he adds further.

Love triangle in Radha Ki Betiyaan

From radio to compering and now acting, Manish Paul has come a long way. This Delhi guy who is currently seen in Star One <em> Choona Hai Aasmaan</em> is very happy to play a parallel lead on NDTV Imagine’s <em> Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi.</em> With his presence there will be a love triangle which will entertain audiences for a long time. “I was called for the audition and got selected for the role of Karan in the show. In the coming episode there will be a love triangle between me, Mona and Apoorva,” says Manish.

Apoorva Agnihotri back in business

The spurt of new channels is providing more and more work for out-of-work actors. Many of our TV stars who were scouting for work now have their kitty full. Apoorva Agnihotri too is one such actor. He returns to the small screen with a new show for the yet-to-be-launched GEC channel NDTV Imagine. Apoorva says, “I’ll be doing a show called <em> Radha Ki Betiyaan. </em> Surpriya Pilgaonkar plays Radha. It’s a story of Radha’s three daughters. How they come to Mumbai in pursuit of their dreams and in the process they bump into me.”
