Old is gold. This adage was proven true by four of television’s saas who triumphed over bahus Juhi Parmar Jasveer Kaur, Barkha Bisht and Rucha Gujarati in the grand finale of Sahara One reality show <em> Saas vs Bahu </em>. After weeks of sweating it out, the team of Krutika Desai, Jayati Bhatia, Kishori Shahane and Vaishnavi has won the coveted <em> Saas vs Bahu </em> title.

The curtain is set to come down on Sahara One reality show <em> Saas vs Bahu </em>. A show that featured as many as 100 celebrities is now down to its final eight contestants. Four<em> saas</em> will battle it out with four bahus in the grand finale that’s likely to be telecast on 6 November. Spilling the beans on the finalists, a source says, “<em>Bahus</em> Juhi Parmar, Jasveer Kaur, Barkha Bisht and Rucha Gujrati will battle against Krutika Desai, Jayati Bhatia, Kishori Shahane and Vaishnavi in the final.”

It’s raining wild cards at the moment in Sahara One’s reality show <em>Saas vs Bahu</em>. After Shilpa Agnihotri, it’s now the turn of Jasveer Kaur and Kirti Kelkar to get their wild cards. The two <em> bahus </em> will return to action from the coming week. A reliable source informs, “Both the judges were unanimous in their decision to bring Jasveer and Kirti back. They were clearly a cut above the rest. Jasveer was better than her other team members Preeti Puri and Saumya Tandon. Similarly, Kirti was better than Reena Kapoor and Manava Naik.”

Amita Chandekar is an unhappy woman. After all, she's got valid reason to feel dejected. Few weeks ago, Amita along with her partners Shilpa Saklani and Chhavi Mittal was eliminated from <em> Saas vs Bahu </em>. The trio had only missed out by one mark. Despite being the best performer every time, Amita expected to get her return ticket to the show but she was in for a rude shock when she was ignored for the wild card.

The<em> saas </em> and<em> bahus</em> are involved in a heated battle in Sahara One’s reality show<em> Saas vs Bahu</em>. Unfortunately, things got way too heated after a fire broke out on the sets at Chitrath Studio in Powai on Sunday. Speaking on the incident, producer Siddharth Tewary (Swastik Pictures), says, “The fire took place at around 2.30 pm yesterday. The cloth on the roof caught fire due to the excessive heating of the lights. The entire roof was damaged. Fortunately, the fire brigade arrived quickly and above all no one was hurt.”

She finished in the top three of <em> Nach Baliye 3,</em> but Amita Chandekar couldn’t go beyond the second week in <em> Saas vs Bahu </em>. Amita and her team of bahus, which included Chavvi Mittal and Shilpa Saklani, have been eliminated from this unique dance reality show. Says Amita, “It does hurt when you lose by just one point. Besides, I’ve been the top scorer in our team for this week. However, we fell behind in aggregate marks.”
