As per a reliable source, Gulshan will be playing the character of Ravan’s (Sachin Tyagi) brother Vibhushan. According to the scriptures, Vibhushan was a spiritual man who helped Ram stand victorious over his (Vibhushan’s) brother Ravan. The actor started shooting for the show yesterday (13 February 2013).

As per a reliable source, Tanya Mirza who was last seen in <em>Amita Ka Amit</em>, Neelanshi Singh, Soham Kadam and Saifullah Rehmani will be entering the show. Tanya, Neelanshi and Soham will be seen as the friends of the young Durga played by Ashnoor Kaur. Their characters are named as Jhalkari, Lalita and Batuk respectively.

Komal has earlier featured in Life OK’s <em>Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki</em>. In <em>Durga</em>, she will play the role of Aditi…wife of rishi (saint) Kashyap. She will be very sweet and gentle in nature.
