Pooja Banerjee who came into the limelight with MTV Roadies, is currently playing the role of Rudrani (Roo) an independent and outspoken NRI who comes to India in search of her roots in Sahara One’s <em>Ghar Aaja Pardesi</em> (Saibaba Telefilms). She talked to <em>Tellychakkar.com</em> on her role in the show, her co-actor Ruchi Savarn and her hobbies. Read on… <strong>How do you play an NRI so convincingly? </strong>

Aleeza Khan, whom you have seen in serials like Qubool Hai and Love U Zindagi recently replaced Shriya Jha who played the protagonist Angana in Sahara One’s <em>Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga</em> (Rajshri Productions). In a candid chat with Tellychakkar.com, the actress speaks about her current role, the kind of characters she would like to enact, her hobbies and a lot many interesting things. Excerpts: <strong>You stepped into Angana’s shoes midway during the show. How did you prepare to slip into the skin of the character convincingly? </strong>

Shriya Jha, the daughter of veteran actress Amardeep Jha has acted in Telugu and Oriya films. She was essaying the role of the lead character Angana in Rajshri Productions’ Hindi serial <em>Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga </em> on Sahara One. We interviewed her while she was shooting her remarriage sequence. She talked about her role, fan feedback, her actress mom, on why she left the show and other interesting things.
