Who's the groom?

<em>Sarrkkar</em>, which is scheduled to go off air by 21 April, has many twists and turns happening. In the ongoing track, Urvashi (Tisca Copra) has marriage plans with Laksh(Manav Gohil) with the approval of Priyumvadha(Divya Seth). But our sources tell us that it's Urvashi and Karan (Rohit Roy) who will be tying the knot! On contacting Tisca Chopra, she says, "Yes, I will be getting married to my brother in law, that's Karan, on the show."

Sarrkkar to go off air in April

Another Zee show has ended it's run! After <em>Rabba</em>..., now, it's the turn of the political drama, <em>Sarrkkar</em>, to go off air. With the way things are going, it seems that the channel has decided to pull the plug off their present shows to perhaps accomodate shows that are waiting in the pipeline. "We had a contract of 52 episodes, which expires in April and the channel's taken a call not to extend it," says producer, Manish Goswami.

Divya Seth to die in Sarrkkar?

Priyamada Devi of Sarrkkar will be assassinated in the episode of 30 December. Divya Seth who plays this character will be shown attending a concert tomorrow which will be the place where she will be shot at by assasins. The person planning this is her would be son in law Sudhanshu. But other than the effort to assassination our sources tell us that, Priyamada will be killed in the same episode.

Sarrkkar to witness a new time slot?

It's that time of the year when popular shows are being delegated to time slots that belies their so called 'popular' status. <em>Kkusum, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin</em> are shows that once were channel drivers, but have since been slotted to a not so respectable time slot. According to our sources, the next in line is Zee's <em>Sarrkkar</em>, which will be relegated to the afternoon slot soon. Producer Manish Goswami neither denied it nor conformed the news. The stars of the show seemed puzzled by the turn of events.

Ronit to be bumped off in Sarrkkar?

What's a political drama without a little bit of twist? Zee's first political family seems all set to experience it's first major tweak - Kunal Pratap Singh, the eldest son and heir apparent of Priyamvada Vir Pratap Singh will soon be involved in an accident, which according to our sources, will be fatal! This twist is scheduled to happen in the 100th episode of the show in the 3rd week of September.

Dayashankar Pandey's name might not necessarily ring a bell when you hear of it first, but the man is going about making his mark, and how. Pandey has been more famous for his roles in movies like Swades and Lagaan and now is making a comeback on television with Zee's <em>Sarrkkar</em>, next week.

Ronit to meet Shobha Kapoor soon

These are trying times for the most popular man on telly today. Ronit Bose Roy, the man who brought middle aged men back into fashion, will meet his creator, Shobha Kapoor in two days and decide on his final course of action. Ronit, who will be a papa in two weeks' time, took a tough personal decision early this week by opting to quit the two most popular shows on television, and choosing to work for Manish Goswami's <em>Sarrkkar</em>, that airs on Zee TV. A move that he says was a decision that caused a lot of personal anguish.
