Four eminent actors of the entertainment industry share their birthdays today (1 November 2012). Namely film and television actress Tisca Chopra, Shoma Anand, who will be seen in Jeanie aur Juju on SAB TV, Darpan Srivastava, currently seen in <em>Afsar Bitiya</em> on Zee TV, and Sarika Nanda, seen in <em>Sasural Simar Ka</em> on Colors.

Saregama India Limited’s non-fiction venture <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/tisca-chopra-host-prayaschit-sony>Prayaschit - Gunahon Ke Zakhm</a> on Sony Entertainment Television did not manage to gain the numbers. But they will hope to be lucky this time around as they are coming up with a sitcom for SAB TV.

Looks like new entries seem to be a good resort for falling TRPs. And the latest to follow this trend is Sahara One’s prime time daily <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/amber-will-turn-devdas-niyati>Rishton Ki Bhanwar Mein Uljhe…Niyati</a></em>.

The newly-launched comedy <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/sab-tv-gets-funnier-two-new-shows>Gili Gili Gappa</a> has an interesting track in the coming week, where Shoma Anand who plays the nani of the three kids, will be dancing to the popular old number.

Shoma Anand, aka Bina Mathur of <em> Hum Paanch</em> has replaced Aroona Irani as Durga Khurana in <em> Maayka</em>. Confirming the news, Shoma says, "I have agreed to this show because this character offers me something different. Often people have only associated me with comedy roles, thus I wanted to break this iamge."
