Though Devoleena Bhattacharjee executed the grey character role of Baani in Imagine TV’s Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto with aplomb, the role of hers that seems to have been indelibly etched in the minds of the viewers is that of Gopi bahu in Star Plus’ <em>Saath Nibhana Saathiya</em> (Sunrise Productions). The role has endeared so much to viewers all around that she is considered the ideal daughter-in-law by many mothers-in-law all across the country. Many na?ve viewers expect her to be the same in real life.

Rashi, the difficult bahu of the Modi household, is the most entertaining character of Star Plus’ <em>Saath Nibhana Saathiya</em> (Sunrise Productions). Rucha Hasabnis has essayed the role of the spoiled bahu quite well. In this interview with <em>Tellychakkar.com</em>, she speaks on her character (insists that Rashi isn’t negative), dismisses rumours of a romantic liaison with her co-star Vishal Singh, discusses her hobbies and a lot more. And as her character gained popularity, she also shot into mercurial stardom in India. After a two-year hiatus, the hot and dashing Mohit Sehgal is finally back on the small screen in Trilogy Krikos and Thought Train Entertainments’ <em>Khamoshiyaan</em> (Star Plus).
