Actor Anupam Kher is gearing up for the release of the new Vivek Agnihotri directorial ‘The Vaccine War’, where he will be essaying the role of a cabinet secretary in a special appearance, overlooking the production of Covaxin by ICMR during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in India.

Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War documents the creation of Covaxin and the challenges it faced during the Covid 19-induced pandemic. The filmmaker is prepping up for the release of the film on September 28.

During an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, actress Raima Sen spoke in detail about her movie The Vaccine War and also on what made say yes to the movie.

The film’s plot was based on USA and Jordan’s intelligence agencies CIA and GID to nab the terrorist Al-Saleem. A well known Bollywood actor was offered the part of the terrorist but he refused to play it.

Bollywood actress Raima Sen is all set for her next release, The Vaccine War, helmed by Vivek Agnihotri. The actress will be seen playing the role of a journalist who is against the vaccination drive in India.

The box office this week seems a bit dry as all the new releases opened to poor houses. However, the trade and industry are looking forward to next week when Fukrey 3 and The Vaccine War will release and hopefully set the box office on fire.

Tanushree also spoke about how Nana Patekar has become irrelevant in the industry and is relying on her to get promotion for his film. She even slammed the makers of his film The Vaccine War.
